In recent years, contemporary photographers have been taking a fresh look at early printing processes. Axel’s is pleased to announce an exhibition showcasing alternative process photography, curated by Matt Larson, a photographer and alternative process printmaker from Waterbury Center.

Work by ten Vermont artists who are exploring methods including Ambrotype, Bromoil, Cyanotype, Hand Coloring, Lith Print, Polaroid Transfer, Platinum/Palladium, Van Dyke Brown, and Wet-Plate Collodion will be exhibited.

Artists that are exhibiting are Victoria Blewer, Melanie Considine, Alexis Doshas, Emma Howell, Gary Kittredge, Matt Larson, Nelson Parker, Michelle Saffran, Patricia Lyon-Surrey, and Linda Treash.
